Lamonta's

Lamonta’s transforms the traditional hotel restaurant into a layered hospitality experience inspired by the romance and ritual of Southern entertaining. Located within Charlotte’s downtown Westin Hotel, the project channels the atmosphere of a lush evening garden party through warm wood tones, moody lighting, rich textiles, and intimate lounge-driven planning designed to feel both elevated and approachable. Spaces, in collaboration with Square Feet Studio, developed the project vision through concept strategy, spatial planning, custom millwork detailing, and hospitality-focused material direction. A dramatic curved brass-wrapped bar serves as the centerpiece of the restaurant, surrounded by worn oak shelving, vintage and commissioned artwork, bespoke furnishings, and ambient lighting designed to shift seamlessly from daytime coffee service to late-night cocktails. The result is a boutique hospitality environment layered with warmth, texture, and a distinctly modern interpretation of Southern charm.
